What is Oxygen Bleach? Oxygen Bleach is a whitening powder that is free of phosphorous and nitrogen, making it a very eco – friendly product. Dissolved in water it yields a mixture of hydrogen peroxide (which is water and oxygen), and sodium carbonate (which is soda ash). The science behind bleach is that it uses an oxidizer to break chemical bonds and release the stain – causing substance. Traditional chlorine bleach contains a highly toxic substance called sodium hypochlorite as an oxidizer which you won’t find in our product. Product Benefits Oxygen Bleach is excellent for cleaning and removing organic stains (such as coffee, tea, wine, fruit juices, foods, sauces, grass and blood) from fabrics, plastics, fibreglass, porcelain, ceramics, wood, carpets, or concrete. It can also be used in or around the house for de – staining or deodorizing. It is efficient, safe, economical, non – toxic, biodegradable, and leaves no harmful by products or residues. Special Notes / Instructions Always read and follow washing instructions on garments. Test fabrics for colour fastness. Not recommended for woollens and silks. How to use? PRE – SOAK Dissolve in warm water; 1/4 cup for lightly soiled items, 1/2 cup for moderate soiling or to bleach yellowing whites, use 1 cup for heavy soiled / stained garments and nappies. Soak in the tub for at least 1 hour or even overnight for best results.
WASHING MACHINE Dissolve 2-3 tbs in warm water, then add along with your detergent. Oxygen bleach is used to get rid of stains, deodorize and get whites whiter.
KITCHEN Soak-stained plastic ware, dishes and dish rags in 1/4 cup of dissolved Oxygen Bleach for at least 15 minutes.
GENERAL HOUSEHOLD CLEANING Dilution ratio: 1 cup of Oxygen Bleach to 4 litres of water.
WOODEN DECK Use 4 litres of water and 1 cup of Oxygen Bleach to clean your wooden deck then hose down and let dry before sealing with oil.
BATHROOM For a clean toilet add 1 cup of Oxygen Bleach, wait 15 minutes then scrub.
